Two-set linkage screw jack system can be "L", I and T configuration. It usually consists bevel gearbox, screw jack, electric motor, gear reducer, hand wheel, pillow block bearing, jaw coupling, line shafting.
The screw jack linkage design is to connect more than two sets of screw jacks together through couplings, connecting rods and with motor other accessories. The arrangement of the combined screw jacks can be customized according to needs. The common arrangements are shown in the figure below
Screw Jack for Sluice Gate
Worm gear screw jacks are used for rivers, canals, power station sluice gate lifting projects.
The jack screw used is trapezoidal screw, because it has self-lock function. And trapezoidal screw jack
is suitable for heavy load and slow speed. It can be manual or electric driven according to detailed need.
Traveling Nut Design ( Rotating )
This design incorporates a lifting screw keyed to the worm gear as a single unit, forcing the lifting screw to rotate in the gearbox, but not translate. A traveling nut, running onthe rotating screw generates linear motion for the attached load. This type of jack is ideal for applications that cannot accommodate a screw protection tube.
